In October 2023 Jun.-Prof. Andrey Morozov participated at the 2023 ASME International Mechanical Engineering Congress & Exposition in New Orleans. At the conference, he presented the paper of our PhD student Tagir Fabarisov and his master student Vishnu Gangadhara Naik. The paper titled “ Machine Learning based Search for Access Points in Anomaly Detection Model” is the key part of Mr. Fabarisov's doctoral research.
The paper is focused on finding the optimal subset of the access points in a given complex industrial system. This is necessary when it is required to reduce the volume of training data while keeping high the anomaly detection metrics. The presented paper received the 1st best paper award for the 2023 ASME SERAD Graduate Student Safety Innovation Challenge. This is the third award Mr. Fabarisov has received during his doctoral studies. We congratulate Mr. Fabarisov and Mr. Naik with the award!
