Christian Hackenbeck is an external doctoral candidate at the IAS Stuttgart who is employed by Mercedes-Benz AG. His research project focuses on design principles for in-vehicle interfaces and the expansion of the vehicle ecosystem from the interface perspective. In particular, the project focuses on methods for classifying interfaces in terms of their sustainability for updates and upgrades, as well as modeling design principles for future interface developments.
