At IAS practical research is carried out with scientific depth. Our research priorities include the flexibility and reliability of Automation systems as well as the Engineering of Cyber Physical Automation Systems.

An insight of our current activities can be derived from the numerous Publications and from national as well as International Presentations held at various events.

Field of application

The exciting and pioneering avenue of Industrial Automation is widely applicable and ranges from factory automation to automotive and production technology culminating to technology for the household. Cooperation partners of IAS therefore include Industrial companies as well as Research Institutions.

Cooperation

IAS is involved in diverse Research projects with for example the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG -German Research Organisation) as well as Industrial partners. Some projects are undertaken simply for public appeal in order to draw attention and to inspire by means of innovative technology.
